Your Creator-based® Cause

 It’s Labor Day, a day created by the U.S. government to celebrate all those who labor in the cause of building and creating in our country.  Originally founded by labor unions in the late 1800s, Labor Day was designed to recognize the American Worker. Pretty much, that’s every one of us.  It’s a day off- to celebrate and enjoy the fruits of your labor.


For some of us, that means barbecues and time with family and friends.  For others, it’s just another work day, but either way, it’s a day to remember that you are incredibly good at your work.


All of your life, you have been creating, and look at all you have done! Look at the lives you have touched and the people that smile because of you.  Come on, over a lifetime, I know you have made others smile.  It’s time for a Labor Day pause to honor you and your work- your Creator-based® Cause.


Your cause is uniquely yours and yours alone.  There are clues to your cause planted all through your journey of life.  Maybe you are never happier than when commanding attention in a group.  Maybe you prefer solitude and writing time.  Maybe you are physically active and love to make things happen.  Maybe you prefer the sidelines.  All of these are clues to your cause.


If you have some extra time today, it being a holiday and all, perhaps make a list of the things you love to do. List what you think about when you have nothing else to think about.  List what you would do if you had an entire month off and no limitations. Include in the list the things that people compliment you on, or tell you that you do well.  These are clues to your cause too.


When your list is complete- for today anyway, pause and honor the person you have become thus far in your life.  Seriously, you are extraordinary! Look at all the unique attributes you offer to the world.  Own them.  They are yours and yours alone.  What will you do with them?


Well, to begin with, tuck your list away somewhere you are likely to find it again.  You will have other ideas come to you now that you have opened this line of thinking.  Be ready to jot ideas down as they come this week.  Every one of them will give you a clearer picture of your cause.

I am grateful for who you are and the creations you bring to our beautiful world.

You are a great creator.

  Monday Morning Inspiration April 22 2024 |  EDITION NO. 00229 Hey friend, Let’s talk  Creation .  Paul taught the Philippians, “I can do all things through Christ, who strengthens me.”  That’s a bold declaration of the faith that Paul had in his omnipotent Creator.  Faith is the power that creates and moves  all things.  Now, don’t abandon ship here- this is not a Sunday School lesson.  Faith is what you used to turn on your lights this morning, remember?  Faith is what you used to start your car too.  You believed the light would turn on if you flicked the switch you wouldn’t have taken the action to do it.  I know you have faith.
